Great App with Huge Potential

I bought this app last week, easily plugged it into my ActiveCampaign account and my Facebook Business Manager account. I launched my first campaign over the weekend, which was initiated by an email blast to 4,100 people promoting an event for a plastic surgery client. Quokka identified the email, created a Facebook custom audience, and I set up a Facebook campaign a couple hours later. Easy-peasy.

The stats:

- Email open rate of 18.0% (not bad, but not great either); 739 people opened the email
- Facebook identified 2,100 users for the custom audience
- 37.8% current message delivery rate (only two days into the retargeting campaign), with 814 ad impressions
- Two days in, 40 link clicks at a cost of $26.66
- So far, six people have converted

So, is it all rosy? Almost. In reality, I could run this retargeting campaign straight from ActiveCampaign, as that platform has the ability to move contacts into and out of Facebook custom audiences. What ActiveCampaign cannot do, though, is run retargeting campaigns through Google Ads and Twitter, which Quokka is supposed to do.

I say supposed to, because, as of yet, I have been unable to connect Quokka to my Google Ads account and my attempts to reach the support team have failed (probably because they are seeing a surge due to the AppSumo deal). Also, to connect Twitter, you have to rely on the support team as well, and they have yet to respond to me requests.

If your marketing automation software does not allow you to directly connect to Facebook custom audiences, then you will find great value in Quokka. If your software does provide Facebook custom audiences integration, and this is all you want from Quokka, then Quokka is not a smart buy.

However, if they get Google Ads and Twitter remarketing to work, then this thing rocks for everyone.
