A: I love these questions, because it means you're using Rafter way we use Rafter, and the way we want it to be used.

1. How Often to Scan: I recommend making it part of the git commit workflow to merges to your production and staging branches on Github, and giving it to your agents so they can scan at their discretion, which isn't every time they make a change, but every time they make a change to something with risk (e.g. auth, payment system, etc). For example, it's not critical after updating some copy. This is how Rafter operates across 3 or 4 branches. Part of the reason we offer lower tiers is because some people scan manually.

2. Are Scan Enough: We've found 150 scans/month to be pretty safe, when we're pushing on average 2-3 merges/day for each of 1-4/repos. However, we are thinking for the very-near-scale future of giant agents moving rapidly to deploy massive codebase changes on the order of hours, rather than days or months, across many codebases—for single users. And we want to support that. For agencies white labeling Rafter services and needing more than 150 scans/month, we're open to having a long conversation (and the regular subscriptions stack with AppSumo lifetime deal...). 3. Cost of Pay-As-You-Go: These numbers haven't been decided yet.

4. No, unfortunately not. Because Plus Scan requires much heavier token consumption, it is not included in the lifetime tiers. This helps keep the lifetime deal sustainable.
