Q: Love the concept BUT - seems like competition #s are incorrect
I ran some of the competition / difficulty to rank #'s through semrush -- specifically I took the ones that indicated "Low Competition" -- pretty much every "low competition" keyword I gave to Semrush showed that they were high competition. The SEMRush data appears to be accurate based on search volume and what I would expect. I'm curious If I'm understanding "Low competition" incorrectly?

What you are looking at is Paid SERP Competition Index. You are comparing that with the Difficulty index which is different. To get the difficulty index, please go into the keyword detail report and you'll find difficulty, search intent, content ideas & a lot more.
I'd be happy to take suggestions to make Difficulty index more clear and available in the search results.
This would be incredibly helpful to have it in search results. That in my view is much more important than paid SERP
We just added the Keyword Difficulty metric as well on the results page.
