Sharing my experience for transparency. I bought Lifetime access Tier 3 to this tool through AppSumo. The product is now no longer usable. AppSumo confirmed that Lifetime access only lasts for the lifetime of the product — meaning if the product shuts down, the access ends as well. But I’m curious how others view this: Do you see Lifetime Deals as inherently carrying the risk of total loss if the company disappears? Or do you expect some form of platform-level protection when the purchased product becomes permanently unusable? Do you see this as part of the deal model?
I purchased plan 3, and now it does not work. Total waste of money. This app does not qualify for the We Got Your Back Guarantee. I'm getting tired of AppSumo's promise of We Got Your Back Guarantee, plus user? seiously? AppSumo should send an email to inform buyers, but they do not. The only way to find out is to go to the app's listing page. Who goes and reviews the listing page of apps they already purchased? Once again, I feel cheated. Initially, they said it would be a short-term issue to recoup the time invested in the project, but suddenly they stop working (leaving our clients, who trusted us, in a state of disrepair). This has happened to me with many apps, and the problem is that when we need to use the tool or our clients, we're forced to give explanations and take responsibility. A zero for Rankspro and another for AppSumo.

That said, I need to be clear: Rank Tracking was a core feature and a primary reason for purchasing the Lifetime Deal. Pausing it, even temporarily, materially changes the value of what was sold. While external factors may be unavoidable, those risks should not be shifted entirely onto LTD users after purchase. I expect clear timelines, defined limits for the phased return of Rank Tracking, and consistent progress updates — not open-ended assurances. Continued trust depends on accountability and concrete plans. I look forward to your response outlining next steps toward restoring this feature.
Alekh attacked me for the review I posted, mentioning my country's name, which is why this question: I want to ask Alekh why you attacked me by mentioning my country's name? And let's say you are not responding to my emails, but I see mostly of the customers now report the same thing about your unresponsiveness. What do you have to say about this? Why are you not responding to my email? Let's discuss here. I see you can reply to the review, but can't reply to the email. Are you a nonsense founder? You don't know a single sensible thing about the LTD. Whatever the condition is, you have to keep your promise to your early customers. And also Appsumo, what is your country's protection policy during criticism? Why did you let Alekh attack me, mentioning my country?
