Tool OK, but not support
I was looking for an alternative to my main SEO tool for when it's down or to cross-check the data. RanksPro.io is an interesting alternative with some shortcomings.
Basically, I don't like the design/user interface, but that is of course a matter of taste. I'm not deducting any stars for that. Unfortunately, the tool is also rather slow, with several seconds loading time between functions being standard. Depending on the size of the website, an SEO audit also takes significantly longer than with other tools.
I do find it positive that the developers seem to be endeavouring to incorporate new functions. Initially, it was not yet possible to read out the rankings of any URL, but this function is now available. Very positive!
Unfortunately, my experience with the support team, apparently with Alekh, has been very negative. Even when I asked about the above-mentioned function, I was often put off and had to wait days for an answer. Waiting time is basically OK, but not in a live chat, where Alekh is always shown as being online. It is also not OK that Alekh sometimes reacted insultingly and cheekily after my queries. For example, he wrote that they would implement the function and put it on the roadmap. 4 weeks later there was still no update and the function was not on the roadmap. His response was basically that I should be happy about the other features and the cheap lifetime deal and not complain...
Then on 26/11/2024 the feature went live after about a month, which is fine (the communication wasn't). Unfortunately, it didn't work correctly. The tool showed with 0 rankings for URLs that I know for sure have more than 100 rankings. When I wrote to Alekh about this, I had to follow up again several times and only got feedback 2 weeks later that I should test other URLs. I did so and gave Alekh 8 more URLs from different websites where RanksPro provided incorrect data everywhere. That was on 11.12.2024 and since then I have followed up several times and there has been no response.
I understand that the tool is still being developed and that not everything works smoothly. However, I don't understand the stalling, the ignoring, the excessively long response times for a live chat and the cheeky replies. Together with the user interface and the inadequate functions, I tended to give it between 2 and 3 stars. In my opinion, the tools here at AppSumo can certainly have shortcomings in their functions. But not when it comes to support. I have therefore decided in favour of 2 stars.
Update:
As described above, Alekh did not respond for 2 weeks. Suddenly, after I published my review, he is able to respond within 2 hours.
Unfortunately, he still hasn't understood what my main criticism is. He claims that I have ‘impatience problems’ or writes ‘Trust our data or you can cancel’.
I have never experienced such unprofessional customer service with 0 insight with any other tool.

"You are sick actually. Sickness rarely have treatment. I wish you could find one."
Seriously, if it wasn't the boss, you'd have to fire an employee like that.

My account has since been blocked. When I request a new password, I get the message that there is no account under the e-mail address. Apparently Alekh has simply blocked me because he didn't like my review. Wow.
Watch what you write people. Open opinions are apparently not welcome at RanksPro.

Where Peter asked me if it will take: days, weeks or years. I said weeks out of the 3 choices he gave and it was not a fake commitment. We started working on it after few days as we had many other requests pending and features pending from the Roadmap on which our team was working. But after exactly 4 weeks, Peter came to the chat and asked if it is done or not. I replied to him that its under development and its not easy as Peter thinks to develop any feature overnight.
Again Peter came and asked the same thing after couple of days, I didnt answer that for 6 days because I have already conveyed my message to him and we have a live chat not to get harassed but to HELP.
Peter used the words which were really bad and demotivating for me and my team which we dont expect when working hard on all the feature requests coming from even a single customer. Again, Peter started unusual discussion and sending the LONG MESSAGES, still we promised this feature on 20th OCTOBER and mentioned that it will take weeks, and we DELIVERED THE FEATURE ON 26th Nov. I dont think if we took one more week to finish the feature is something to yell on us and doubt us or send us long long messages.
We are a small team and we cant reply unusual messages when we are working on the requests or new features because we need to give our best with that and building Rankspro as the better and better one. Instead of 4 weeks, if any creator or any company takes more time then I dont think its something customers need to start DEBATE on it and waste our time still when we are shipping more than what you expect.
But again Peter came and sent us many URLs mentioning that the RanksPro's new feature doesnt work, just because he was comparing with some other tool, I replied and told him that we have tested this already and its working perfect and the data is accurate. But again he sent few more URLs comparing figures with Sistrix. I didnt reply because this was something never ending from Peter's end as he was fully prepared to disturb us and distract us, shift our focus from building to this kind of discussions, reviews, stress. And this is what finally he is doing, he is publishing reviews on our company's Google my business, changing review here after every day, and writing anything he want to harm us.
HARASSMENT is not tolerated at RanksPro because we respect our customers and we even have shipped the features which were not the part of the deal. Why? Because we love our customers and we want them to feel confident while working with the RanksPro team. I am also one of the Appsumo customer and have purchased 100s of DEALS but never harassed any creator or founder because they put their Sweat, Money and Blood while giving you a LIFETIME DEAL (Talking about the honest). I respected each app creator even they denied the feature request. But with Peter this is not the case, he want to DEBATE, for which I have no time and I am really sorry that I cannot work with such customer because Interacting with this customer has required significant time and focus, which has impacted our ability to address other priorities and support requests effectively. In chat everytime he assumes by himself that the tool is not working. But it is working fine.
I want all my SUMOLINGS to understand the side of a Founders, which are in startup stage and giving their best and offering a good deal which is obviously helping our financials but we are not denying any requests or chats.
Apart from this I shared the comparison of RanksPro data with Semrush, for two of the links he shared and it was all close and similar. But Peter was not happy because I didnt check all of the links he shared with me. I accept the numbers cant be same for any tool you use, because every tool/company use to have a different data sources, techniques and parameters. Still our data is close or similar to Semrush. He accepted that and promised that if I match the data with any popular tool then he will delete the review and change the ratings but later on he added something negative after I showed him facts.
We are ready to end this deal if we are a bad one but I cant tolerate this kind of harassment where customer is trying to abuse us and trying to harm our reputation even after we are doing our best. We are committed to the honesty, and hard work. We believe that our commitment to honesty, hard work, and continuous improvement will resonate with our community and reflect positively in the long term and I am 1000% confident about this.
