This means we dont have data for that domain, we are changing this error message today as its very confusing we know!
OK. Thanks. Unfortunately then this tool won't work for us because it does not get us the competitors keyword information.
These websites are having decent DR but I guess your database is limited still and only holds information of major websites.
if you enter your competitors URL into the keyword finder we have a database of 715million SERPS and 4.7billion keywords.

I also was getting the same error in Keyword Finder for domains, and now I'm getting "We do not have data on this Keyword or Domain. Please choose alternative keyword, domain or location.". I tried over a dozen domains (huge websites, massive organic visibility, leaders in their industries) and it just never has any data. Do you have a list of domains somewhere for which your tool has any data?

Yes sorry about that, we made a change and a database server crashed, took us 4hours to get it back up. Sorry about this, it wont happen again!
