Promising: my LinkedIn inbox, handled from a chat
Would you let an assistant touch your real LinkedIn account? I hesitated too. So I started small.
On day one I asked Claude, through Reach MCP, to check my messages since Monday and draft replies. It read the threads, proposed answers and sent nothing until I had approved the exact wording. Five messages went out, three of them polite no’s. Then it found the unanswered comments under my posts and answered them in the right threads. I even pasted a short link from a notification, and it found the post and the comment where a contact had mentioned me. That took minutes, not an evening.
What gives me confidence: a preview before anything is sent, idempotency keys on writes and daily quotas. When your name is on the message, that is not a detail. It tells me the people behind Reach think about the account owner first.
What I would love to see next:
The sender of the last message in the conversation list, so I can see at a glance whether the ball is with me
Real @mentions in comments and replies, including the notification
Post text in the engagement results (it came back empty for me), and no duplicate entries for the same post
Access to the notifications feed (mentions, birthdays, anniversaries)
A “since” date filter for conversations
Names for company-page commenters instead of bare IDs
My verdict: Promising, and I recommend it. If you answer your LinkedIn messages and comments yourself and you are tired of the daily hunt for what is still open, give it a try. With sender info and notifications, it would replace my daily check.

Nov 5, 2026Thank you for this review, and for starting small. It's the right way to let any tool near your own account, and it's how we'd want people to try Reach.
You named what matters most to us. Nothing is sent without your approval of the exact wording, every write carries an idempotency key, and daily quotas cap activity. When your name is on the message, the account owner comes first.
Your wishlist was precise enough to build from, so we did. All six are now live:
- Who spoke last: each conversation now shows who wrote the last message, so you can see at a glance whether the ball is with you, in group chats too.
- Real @mentions: comments and replies can tag people, just like a mention made by hand. If Claude writes "@Name" without a real mention, Reach refuses to post it rather than publish a name as plain text.
- Engagement results: each post now appears once, with its text, including posts that only got reactions.
- Notifications: Reach now reads your Notifications page: mentions, comments, birthdays, work anniversaries and job changes. A mention inside a comment comes with the comment, so Claude can reply in that thread.
- "Since" filter: conversations and notifications take a date, so "messages since Monday" means exactly that.
- Company pages by name: pages that comment on or react to your posts now appear by name, not as bare IDs.
