Q: Is this actually your product or Neil Napier's (or whatever he calls himself these days)?

I see it was launched by him just last month.

A: The promo we ran a few weeks ago it was invite-only with a selected group of partners through our private affiliate program to help us stress test the system and ensure we are ready and solid for the masses before the AppSumo launch.

Neil was our lead affiliate partner there.

In that promo, the 3,000 credits were fixed (non-recurring), the bundle there the remaining 3,500 were recurring at $397/year (not one time).

During this AppSumo launch, with Tier 2 you get 300 credits/mo (which equals to 3,600/credits/year), and with Tier 3 you get 500/mo/credits (6,000/year)... for a one-time payment.

I don't think we should compare the two because both compliments each other in terms of credits. This deal will greatly add to your account if you have already purchased the bundle.

Thanks for getting this to our attention.

After seeing some YT videos it's clear this was a JVZoo type of deal a month ago, and there's nothing wrong about it, apart from the fact that most don't stick around for long...

Also, those affiliates must have been burned as their affiliate link is not working, so they promoted it and earned for 2/3 weeks at most but will be generating demand for much longer. I'd like to check those affiliate deal terms as well.

I'm curious about what John has to say about this.

Hi Sumoling,

Thank you for reaching out.

Let me explain and clear this confusion once again as I did in previous posts:

First things first, the promo we ran a few weeks ago wasn't JVzoo or WarriorPlus deal; it was invite-only with a selected group of affiliates through our private affiliate program (PayKickstart shopping cart) to help us stress test the system and ensure we are ready and solid for the masses before the AppSumo launch.

I understand that when you launch something nowadays through affiliates especially when it's a funnel, people automatically label this as a "JVzoo" deal.
Again, this wasn't published or launched through JVzoo!

I urge you to please show me a link that shows us being published in the JVzoo marketplace or having a JVzoo checkout page.

Some may mention it in some blogs that have other products that were launched through JVzoo, but we can't control who posts where

Plus the deal there was different than what we offer here. We didn't offer recurring credits for one-time offers - we do that only here on AppSumo.

And people who already purchased the promo for a month have the chance to purchase this deal to enhance their existing accounts (that's optional, of course).

Regarding the inaccessible links you mentioned, that promo lasted for 7 days and then it expired. Again, we just wanted to stress-test the system and ensure everything works smoothly. In addition to that, as everyone knows, sales are the lifeblood of any business; who said running a promo through a private affiliate program is bad business practice? It could be the same as if you promote your business via Facebook ads, cold-calling people, etc. Just here our affiliates helped.

I'm sorry for the confusion.

I hope my post gave some light on these concerns.

Thanks for making things clearer.
I understand the goal of doing a small launch to gather feedback and some initial traction. Going the extra mile to explain the case with Neil is appreciated.
