Thank you for your interest in our Reading Indicator plugin.
To clarify, both plugins, Reading Indicator and Reading Progress Bar for WordPress, serve the same purpose. They are developed by our team at 42Theme. However, Reading Time is a different plugin with a distinct codebase. It's optimized for the Envato market infrastructure, has a different licensing model, and comes with separate support conditions (including 6 months of included support). Although these plugins are crafted by the same hands and perform similar functions, they are separate products.
Regarding the lack of recent updates, we appreciate your understanding. Our team is based in Ukraine, and unfortunately, we faced significant challenges due to the war that began in our country three months after the release of the plugin. Without dwelling on the difficulties, we kindly ask for your understanding, as the past two years have been exceptionally challenging for us. We are gradually returning to normal operations and, in the near future, plan not only to release updates for our plugins but also to introduce several new products.
