I've been a lifetime member of ReadItForMe for a few years. I also have a lifetime deal for 12 Mins, have used Blinkist and three others, and occasional look at Get Abstract. I've got a fair amount of experience with book summary companies.

ReadItForMe is totally unique in the niche. The information in Steve's summaries is solid and, other than Get Abstract ($300 a year), is on par with any other service. Where Steve stands out is presentation. He creates videos out of his summaries (in addition to text and audio) and they are usually very good.

If you're a bit of a summary freak or have never used them, I strongly urge you to get this. Free for a year in this case is a beautiful deal because you'll be able to access years worth of summaries.

Now I paid $250 for my lifetime deal and I think it was worth it. Now I see Steve is offering sumolings the same deal for $99. Huh?

Maybe he'll let early lifers a bonus for paying the higher price, like when I hit San Antonio he'll let me stay in his garage for a few nights instead of shelling out for a hotel.
