1. Editor v3 — our most advanced editor ever

We rebuilt the editor engine under the hood. It’s faster, more responsive, and built for the AI agents we’ll be rolling out next.

Video processing is now significantly quicker, exports are more stable, and formats/codecs/color profiles are much more consistent.

2. Fully upgraded infrastructure

We redesigned major parts of our backend to make rendering smoother, reduce failures, and give us the agility to ship new features at a rapid pace.

3. New unified Media Credits system

Previously you had separate limits for clipping and captioning. Now it’s a single, flexible pool.

Example: old Tier 1 LTD = 5 hours clipping + 5 hours captions.

New system = 10 hours of your choice: clipping, captioning, or any mix.

4. AI Credits — all AI tools under one bucket

We introduced unified AI credits covering dubbing first, and expanding to more AI-powered tools going forward. Simpler, cleaner, and more scalable.

What are your plans with the customers, cash, and learnings from the AppSumo campaign?

Our primary goal with AppSumo customers is to build a strong, engaged user community to gain valuable insights, feedback, and testimonials that will guide future product enhancements. Cash from the campaign will be reinvested into product development, specifically in improving AI capabilities and expanding features such as personalized avatar-based video generation, faceless video creation, advanced noise removal, AI-driven lighting enhancements, and seamless background removal. Learnings from this campaign will directly inform strategic decisions, enabling us to better address market demands, optimize customer success, and accelerate our vision of becoming a comprehensive AI-powered creative suite.

Any details to clarify about the deal?

Monthly credits will be granted fully after the refund period. During the refund period, only the first month's credits are available immediately; the remaining credits are unlocked after 30 days. For Tier 4, credits will continue to be granted only on monthly basis. Some feature highlights and limitations: Best video types: Dialogue-rich content such as interviews, podcasts, educational videos, commentaries, speeches, and reviews. Minute calculation: Based on the length of the uploaded video processed by AI. Processing time: Generally between 20-60 minutes, subject to increase and decrease based on the input video. Video processing issues: Automatic credit refunds for processing delays or failures due to server overload or content recognition issues. Captions: Automatic captioning with 97% accuracy, editable by users. Languages supported: English, German, French, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Japanese, Chinese, Dutch, Indonesian, Romanian, Hindi, Urdu and 50+ more.

To ensure fair usage and prevent abuse, there is a 30-day lock-up period for credit usage:

• During this period, usage is limited to a monthly allocation (e.g., 300 minutes for Tier 1, 600 minutes for Tier 2 & 3).
• After 30 days (end of refund period), the remaining yearly credits are unlocked and provided all at once for flexible usage.
