Q: How to keep Character and Background Consistent

I used the pro mode to create characters, such as an old man for a story, but the character lacks consistency. In one scene, it appears as an old man, while in another, it changes to a young man. How can I keep the character consistent throughout the entire story? How can I bring two characters into the same frame? Additionally, how can I maintain consistency in the background? For example, if the story is set in a village, the background should stay consistent across all scenes. In addition to zoom-in and zoom-out effects, is it possible to animate the character doing activities like talking, playing, running, and other actions? Could you also suggest the best use cases where this tool performs effectively?

A: Thank you for your thoughtful questions! Here’s how you can address each of these concerns and make the most of ReelCraft:

Character Consistency:

Create and Preview Characters First: Use the "Stories" or "Autobiography" content type to create and preview your characters before generating the story. This feature ensures consistency throughout the video.

Define Detailed Descriptions: While creating a character, include details such as name, age, appearance, and attire, but keep the description concise to avoid ambiguity in character generation.

Two Characters in the Same Frame:

Currently, adding multiple characters in the same frame requires careful prompt customization, which does not work so well always, For now, describe both characters explicitly in the scene prompt (e.g., "an old man and a young boy talking under a tree").

Consistent Background:

To maintain the same background across scenes, specify the setting (e.g., "a village market") in every scene's prompt. Consistency depends on how precisely the background is described in each prompt. Future updates will make this process more intuitive.

Animated Character Actions:

While zoom-in and zoom-out effects are available, animating characters to perform specific actions (e.g., talking, running, playing) is under active development. For now, you can describe these actions in the scene prompts for a static interpretation.

Best Use Cases:

ReelCraft excels at creating story-driven content, biographies, and generic informational videos. Many users find success in creating YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, or educational content. Joining our Discord community will let you explore creative examples shared by other users.
