Q: Please fix the Credit System Immediately to Honor the Original Deal

The original deal, for example, was 25 or 50 credits for either a 4K image video or a 4K animation video, no matter if it used all 4000 characters. The deal was changed and now says 25 credits or 50 credits per minute. Like many others are saying, this is not fair. If you could make it fairer and say 3-4 credits per minute for image video and 6-8 credits per minute for animation, that would be fairer with what I found online about what 4000 characters would look like regarding the number of minutes.

Also, I see the Hapier credits carried over from when I upgraded. If you could make our unused credits keep compounding, that would be even better. Someone mentioned being able to use regular credits for Hapier, but just calculate that you have to use more of them since it is more expensive with that model.

A: Hey Jake,

Yes, the credit system still charges 25 and 50 credits respectively. However, we had to confine it to a per minute pro rata basis system, so shorter videos cost less credits but yes longer videos cost more credits than before. When the community was small, we had set no limit. Now that there are 200K+ users on our platform, it's not possible for us to sustain with no limits to the duration of the video. We had communicated this in our email to all our users and on our Discord channels.
You're right Haiper credits roll over to the next month, since it's pay as you go and it's an external API call. We have gold credits in place as we pay for each second of generation to Haiper. We added the model for people to have options to use other models in our storytelling engine. We will integrate more models like Luma, Kling, so that people have different options to choose from. Having said that, it cannot be bundled in a deal as these API calls are very expensive and we charge the same in terms of gold credits.
The costs would only go down from here, and we will pass on the benefits to our users.

Thanks,

Regards,
Team ReelCraft
