Admittedly this is a little different than expected, but I really like the smart layouts - it really doesn't take long to make a consistent set of images for all social media and other formats you could imagine. Very slick!
if you haven't given it a try sign up for a demo and give it a try - it will answer most of your questions if you give it an honest effort.

I think a lot of people have the EXACT same reaction as you.
Some already feel the pain of making graphics and immediately find this to be the best thing since sliced bread.
But most need a little time to get their head wrapped around how it works. Once they do... it's either "Meh?" or "#MINDBLOWN!"
We've even considered building a whole team that just loads every asset up automatically so that people could get started faster but might have a few tricks up our sleeve in that regard in the near future. :)
I think I'm going to build an intro video soon that walks through the entire process start to finish. Maybe that would help.
