We currently use another chat bot software that uses logic responses and once the lead is submitted it is tracked as a conversion in Google Ads.

You can track conversions using Google Tag Manager, which is the recommended method — and it works very similarly to what you described with your current chatbot.
Conversion Tracking via Google Tag Manager (GTM)
When a user submits a lead or completes a key action inside your agent, Release0 can fire GTM events that you can map directly to Google Ads conversions.
I'd like to use the Webhook block to make Release0 and endpoint for an external REST API.
