Need support to activate my Google API key
I purchased a custom Google API key to avoid running out of credits, but I’m unable to activate it. I went into Preferences → AI service provider and entered my API key in the Google field. How does this integration work, and can someone from customer support guide me through activation? I’ll update my rating once this is resolved. Once fixed, I expect this will prevent credit limits and streamline my workflow for saving web pages and drafting from my private knowledge base.

After you enter your Google API key in Preferences → AI service provider, it should show as Verified once the key is accepted. After that, no separate activation is needed from our side.
Once verified, AI-related features such as Q&A, summarization, drafting, and other AI responses will use your own Google API key instead of remio’s default credits.
Could you let us know what issue you are seeing after entering the key? For example, does it fail to verify, show an error message, or verify successfully but still not work? A screenshot of the error would help us guide you faster.
