Q: How do ticket fees work?

I want to fully understand ticket fees.

1. Is the $0.99 fee payable on every ticket registered, whether a free or paid ticket?

2. Is the $0.99 fee payable on every ticket registered, whether they attend or not?

3. When are the fees paid to Remo?

4. What happens if ticket-holders want to cancel their ticket, or the event is cancelled?

5. Learning + setup session? If I put on a test event (eg to familiarise myself with the platform, or to check out everything is working), will I owe Remo $0.99 each time I fire up a test event?

6. Demo/training sessions? If I put on a demo, or a speaker/helper training session with 1 + 5 people registered, will I owe Remo $5.90 each time?

A: Hi Sumo-Ling,

Here’s a quick breakdown of ticket fees:

$0.99 fee per ticket: Applies only to paid tickets, whether attendees join or not. Free tickets incur no charges.

Fee collection: Both Remo and Stripe fees are deducted automatically at the time of sale. Payouts go directly to your Stripe account for hassle-free revenue reporting.

Cancellations: You will have the option to refund as the payment will be with you. However, please note that the fees (Remo fee + Stripe fee) are non-refundable.

Test/demo events: Fees apply only if paid tickets are created. To avoid charges, host without tickets.
