Q: Question about automated and manual replies
Hi there!
I'm excited to try the tool and I have a couple of pre-purchase questions. I'm looking more for a tool that will help me manage (tag comments), manually reply in some cases, and create automated DMs workflows (similar to ManyChat). I see that replient.ai has both of those features.
My questions:
1) On the number of comments per month per plan, is that for the automated AI comments only? Or does that max include manual comments as well?
2) Does the tool allow you to manually delete or mark as spam?
3) Even after you delete a comment, is it still in your history + tagged? I'm thinking of times when I might need to make a list of accounts to block.
4) I saw in your replies, you can't manage DMs and replies but is it on the roadmap to add support for direct message management?
Thanks so much for your time!

Jun 11, 2025A: Thanks for reaching out - great questions! Here’s a detailed breakdown to help you:
1. Comments per month - manual vs automated:
The monthly comment limit applies to all incoming comments on your social media profiles, meaning both automated replies and manual actions count toward your plan’s quota. This is because we generate Tagging, Sentiment and 3 AI suggestions for each incoming comment automatically.
2. Manual delete / mark as spam:
Yes, you can absolutely manually delete/hide comments or mark them as spam directly in the replient.ai dashboard. These actions are available for every comment and are also logged in the activity protocol for full transparency.
3. Comment history after deletion:
Even if a comment is deleted, it still remains visible in your activity history, along with its tags and sentiment analysis. This helps you keep records for moderation purposes - perfect for cases where you want to review or block problematic accounts later.
4. DM workflows and roadmap:
You’re right — DMs are currently in our closed beta for Pro and Enterprise users. And we don't offer AI suggestions yet. But we offer automated DM workflows like ManyChat (if person comments XYZ, you can trigger a DM as followup) .
Let me know if you have any other questions to get started - happy to help!
