Focus on the important things, not repetitive editing!
I have hosted indie podcasts since 2014 where I do everything. I edit the folks I interview, most of whom have never been on a podcast. It is very important to me to have the best interview quality, since I respect the people I interview and want to make sound their best.
As a result, I have to deal with a lot of vocal ticks (hummus and ahhs) and sometimes long pauses. Sometimes in a 45 minute interview I can spend 2-3 hours just on simple editing.
Well, Resound has drastically reduced that repetitive effort and allows me to publish quicker and move on to the thing I love: interviewing!
I originally found Resound several months ago and did not like it. It took quite a while to produce an output and the algorithm missed and/or cut the tracks a little too much or too little.
Recently the updates have increased the effectiveness of the editing tremendously. I know there will be more features in the future that will make it even better.
Finally, I had the opportunity to meet the CEO and lead developer and they are super people and followed up right away when I had questions.
If you are like me, dump the repetitive editing and get on board with Resound!
