Not Yet a Time Saver still have to do Lot's of manuel edits.
I like the idea but am not yet sold on resound. There are already apps that do this and do it better. Audiate by TechSmith is the best I've seen and used so far. But resound has POTENTIAL. That is why I decided to purchase it. Your enhance feature is solid. I can do that myself in Audacity, FL Studio, Logic Pro, etc. It's really not hard. The secret is the quality of the sound BEFORE HAND. Put good sound in, and you get good sound out. At first use I can already see 3 NEEDED FEATURES. 1) Have your AI detect and remove the short breaths we take. Even your sample file, you can hear every breath she takes. That is not professional sound quality. Although the voice sounds WONDERFUL. 2) CLICKS & POPS, your software needs to be able to detect and remove them. 3) Your timeline. There needs to be the ability to drag it forward or backward, like in Audiate or Audacity. Adding the first 2 features would make your software truly priceless. But as it is now, I still have to go behind it to edit Clicks, POPs, and Breaths. That defeats the purpose of it saving time. Audiate can detect and remove all silences with 1 button. (If Resound can do that, I didn't see the feature for it). Also, the silences can be adjusted. (Yes, I see you have that feature coming). Verdict: is the software currently worth it's price point, NO. HOWEVER, with a few tweaks and feature additions, this will be a WINNER!!! Note: If this was not the final day for the lifetime deal, I would not have purchased it. I am still not wowed by it BUT if the founders put the time into it and don't abandon it, those who purchased the LT will look like geniuses years down the road. 3 TACOS for Now (I am grading on idea and effort). Anyone who gave this 5 Tacos do not truly understand editing. It still needs work. I don't sugar coat my reviews. Not going to dump on the Resound Team either. I believe these guys are onto something. Only time will tell if they follow through.
