The platform works fine, but the deal here turns out to be on the lower levels of generous, and includes tons of branding and what sounds like a pre roll ad before going live? Really? I bought this early in my APP SUMO career as an addicted shopper, so I did not understand this was not that great a deal. Be Live gave us custom branding and so much more for a lot less. The affiliate program here is also a joke, offering 1 time "credits" for friend referrals. Agin, the Be Live plan offers 2 tiers of payments and 20% recurring income. I am so Uninterested in one time payment deals.

Ive been working in technology for over two decades, launched many products and apps and this deal is the quintessential Freemium model, that people have to pay for?? The branding, the links, the misleading line item value prop of optional removal, put it all together and its pretty shady and quite upsetting. I mean honestly, its a great model: make thousands of people pay, force them to market your product, pretend theres a way around it, ignore all reasonable and sincere request for a compromise, up-sale and grow. To think, most leaders in the valley would be too shy or have too much integrity for such a play, buy you guys nailed it. I wish I could have used it more, but like many complaints before me, it looks cheap, similar to why I feel this is being pitched and handled. One last note- I find it crazy that the very 1st guideline to submitting a review here on appsumo is: "1. Please review the product you're purchasing, NOT the TERMS of the DEAL." Really, not the terms of the deal?? Thats like renting a car from Hertz, having a terrible experience with small print fees and customer service and their response is, please focus all reviews on how you liked the car. Appsumo, I love you guys, love what you do, but, PLEASE BE UPFRONT ABOUT THE UPSELLS AND/OR FUNCTIONALITY LIMITATIONS WITH THE PRODUCTS, its good business.

I've been using this for about a month now and streaming my webinars to both YouTube and Facebook, instead of _just_ YouTube like before. I'm really pleased with how this has worked so far, and am a big fan of the added audience I'm getting thanks to multi-streaming.

When I saw that you could upload a video and have it streamed live .... I was super excited. Well, not so fast. It won't upload videos to Instagram or Pinterest because - they don't support streaming. Youtube streaming is supported, but not youtube uploading.

It would be nice to have a tool that would upload to pinterest, Instagrap and youtube. But, the upload video functions just mimics a live stream.

I'll keep this, but it seems really close to an uploader. Seems sad this was not included.

This deal just came perfectly in time. I've been looking for a tool that allows you to live stream to multiple platforms at once and at the same support mobile devices.

Pros

- Easy to set-up using OBS and Streamlabs (desktop and mobile device)
- Mature product
- Perfectly handled my internet bandwidth problem
- Great customer support
- Amazing list of supported platforms
- Huge monthly savings (Multi-streaming apps are really expensive!!)

Cons
- Branding everywhere, but I believe they will try to minimize it soon such as changing links to mentions of Facebook page. You can also edit/remove the branding after your live stream.

Love this platform I bought 1 deal.

It is a polished interface and well executed application.

I am going to use this with Hey Summit to push live feeds through youtube it is a really great product and the icing on the cake is the ability to schedule the evergreen webinars concept vids.

I am so glad that restream has done all the integrations with the 3 party platforms, whew could you imagine how much ongoing effort this takes to keep everything working, thank God I don't have to do that myself.

For $49 this is a steal of a deal and you would be bonkers to miss out.

This is an awesome deal, don't listen to the complainers, let them pay full price if they don't like the deal. I think this is an awesome package, I will be using it (1 code) for a church to stream Sunday services and the multi-platform chat idea is brilliant for my use.

This is an awesome deal for anyone who does live videos! I've been using Ecamm Live for my Lives and Restream is going to save me so much time because I can now hit all my platforms at once. I also love that it integrates with Ecamm so I can keep my existing setup and broadcast through Restream.

I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it if the branded link could be removed from posts and if we could have an affiliate link to share manually instead. I think the link takes away from the viewing experience. I always promote tools that I love so I would definitely share an affiliate link - but I'd prefer to choose when and how to do this.

This is an amazing deal. Having made weekly videos for 12 years it's time to go live across platforms and this does it effortlessly. I set it up in 10 minutes and streamed to my FB group, page, profile, and 2 places on YouTube without a hitch. LinkedIn is coming, great news. There's one link about multistreaming using Restream that appears during the live and that's it. Once the broadcast was over I went into each video description, removed the link and added my own text. Easy peasy.

Branding of Restream in every single post and you have to leave appsumo and go to paid plan for removing branding is simply worse of this deal.

Planning to apply for refund. Good thing to connect multi streams to avoid time and bandwidth - but if we have to check every single stream and remove unwanted captions - its never saving our time...

Hard to believe that AppSumo was able to get such a great deal on Restream. Personally, I consider this a must buy for anyone who does any live streaming. And the ability to schedule videos instead of doing them live makes the platform that much more valuable. And I don't care at all about the promotional link. I consider it a small tradeoff for such an amazing deal.

I am happy with the livestream. It did go well into multiple locations as pomised. So, nicely said & done.

However, with your every livestream, the link to their website goes along with the description which is ridiculous. We will do livestreams to promote our business, not yours.

Your deal description says that your branding will be present, which a lot of other companies also do. For example, Promo Republic & others - the branding is justified - but how about showing your link in the description? How can you force that?

BTW.. the chat feature also didn't work 100% fine.

Found old reviews discussing this by real users and techies. (not reviews caused by AS effect). Got one code as I like the all in one chat idea, still found deal terms confusing. So I contacted support to get some help & to ask for a Linux client. Their support is great & I got my Linux chat client link + stream from mobile how to + other tutorials I asked for. All in all, highly recommended.

Great tool, but less reach because of a link to restream.io in every post ... that's not ok.

I have just one question; Why are some of us questioning this deal?

It's okay not to buy because you don't like a feature but don't throw away the baby with the bathwater by giving an excellent tool a poor review. I don't believe that's right. Just ignore the deal and wait for the one you'd rather buy!

I was literally looking for a solution like this until the email arrived in my InBox.

I bought three codes, had some questions, and was greeted by excellent live chat support.

I did upgrade to a monthly plan, but if anyone offered me these features for the total price a month ago I'd jump on it.

Talk to their support. They are awesome. Literally the best support I've talked to.

So don't be like "For $47 it doesn't deposit $100/day into my bank account."

(but it probably could if you used it right)

The only thing that makes me feel sad about this deal, is that they didn't found a solution and generousity to make possible the restream link on the status not to be published by default.
When I start streaming, I am a little nervous i everything started as planned, if everything is working... but with that link, I need to act quick by going on every platform to remove it.
C'mon guys, I believe you don't need it as much as we hate it.
I feel bad and unproffessional with that.
