great intuitive tool
making a resume will perhaps make it to the top 3 procrastinations for most people. Certainly mine, since - if you are not actively looking for a change - it never gets done and then an opportunity of a lifetime comes and you realise that your shoddily put doc will not make the cut. The LinkedIn improt is what gets my thumbs up. easy, intuitive and very clear instructions on how to go about it (e.g. it says 24 month but your key data would be available in 10 min, OR, do not wit for email notifications). I managed to subscribe, import my data, tweak the format and have a resume - all within an hour.
Couple of suggestions (not sure if possible but wishlist):
1. the resume and cover letter design is great but is it possible to have access to and online pdf editor. I only had a reader and it is painful to toggle back to content, see the output and then toggle back till you are satisfied
2. great choice of format but (i Know am being greedy) possible to tweak the format - have a kind of format editor to have custom formats. perhaps similar to previous point.
Overall, everything works well, lot of flexibility to do things and for me money well spent. thanks

May 9, 2024Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Much appreciated! :-)
Yes, LinkedIn is typically ready with the first installment of the profile data (the only one required by Resumonk) in approximately 10 minutes or so. In our opinion, even that is too long. It seems they are just making it harder for users to get their own data out of their platform.
Weâve taken a note of both your suggestions. Weâll try to improve our preview functionality and also try to provide more customization options in the future.
Cheers.
