Q: I kinda like the idea but wanted to leave a comment on whats missing/why I am not buying.

Regarding .CSV handling
------------------------------------
1) People working with csv usually handle LARGE datasets. 50k limit is, sorry to be harsh, useless. Real Life example: My .csv files I handle daily are >=50GB (and I got several of them - daily)

2) People dealing with csv data usually handle COMPRESSED files. To the example above, 50GB is .gzip compressed

Let me automate downloading >=50 GB .gzip data (from remote url), unzip it (automatically), merge it (automatically), clean it (automatically) ...

Regarding everything else
-----------------------------------
You seem to be early stage since pricing amongst other stuff is not ready so finding product market fit is a good thing to do, however, I am having NO IDEA what sets you apart from TANA (currently most promising challenger), Notion, Airtable, Coda, Confluence, ...

Please make sure to understand the following as advise and not an offensive approach:

If you want to sell something in a highly saturated market you got to have a damn hot unfair advantage turned into a unique selling point or you are simply big enough to 'kill' the others (like Microsoft did when they 'enforced' Teams into the market).

So, I got no idea what you are selling that is different, better, unique, ... (compared to TANA, Notion, Airtable, ...) and then what you are selling: I see the feature list but actually, what problem do you solve (again, compared against TANA, Notion, ... - since that is the category your prospects will put you in and auto compare you/your features against the known).

A: Hello,

1) The 50k limit is project-based and you can have unlimited projects in Retable. The reason for the 50k limitation is related to browser limits rather than Retable's limits. For example, our on-prem users do not have such limits. Anyway, we are working on add-ons to increase the 50k limit and they will be available soon. 😊

2) I will forward this to our team and we will discuss this. We have to check how possible it is technically.

Thank you very much for your recommendations. We have some comparison pages where you can access more information on this. In these pages, we highlight the differences between Retable and the products that are described as Retable's competitors. Also, since Retable is a product that's been in the market for 2 years and has been actively used, now we're in the process that we're focusing on our community's suggestions and developing more niche features with their feedback. Thus, Retable will become much more effective and differentiate it from its competitors.

Thank you for supporting us in this process.

Best! 😊
