No communications about shutting down or moving to "legacy"
This is the third product within a short time that is changing their lifetime deal to something else.
In the past, I have bought a lot of deals, as you can see. Now I have more Appsumo credits than I know what to do with.
Retable was okay, a bit complicated to use, but I have had several deals that turned out to be better later, with a bit of development.
However, here's financial trouble.
Appsumo states that Retable announced shutting down in November - but I haven't received an email about that. Instead today, I am asked to change to a paid plan or stay on my "legacy" plan without updates. Long after their Black Friday deal.
Firstly, an early adopter that is left out in the cold unless they pay more is not going to invest again.
Secondly, the only reason I saw Appsumo's message above to refund until [in TWO DAYS TIME] was the email that I just got, with !URGENT! in the message.
So now I guess I will check all the Appsumo deal pages of what I have purchased just to make sure I get a refund in time, because this seems to be happening a lot lately.
I am sorely disappointed and will be refunding. At least there's that. More credits for me.
