Lacks a lot of features required for professional resumes
As someone who makes a living as a professional resume writer, I was quite excited when this deal came up. The main selling point was the ability to output your resume in a word document format which is a major drawback with most of the other online resume builder.
If someone was able to solve this problem properly they would have me sold as often I am asked by my clients for a word version so they can maintain their resume themselves.
Sadly, Rezi appears to solve this problem by limiting the format and template of your resume to a one-column resume.
Two columns resumes are far better for having an impact and including all the important information on the front page.
There are other key features lacking, including the ability to add one's own sections to a resume (for example publications), a certification, referees??!
As well as the ability to even change the font-style (Serif fonts are not recommended for the best reading of a resume).
I'm sure the developers have some plans to make improvements and I do wish them well. I would in particular love to work with a company who was willing to make a great medical professional resume builder. Because one simply doesn't exist right now.
The product is perfectly ok if you are just wanting a quick was of tidying up your own resume and don't think you will have to be competing with too many others with better-looking resumes. Which is what most others here seem to be utilising it for.
But sadly for me, the product as it stands does not meet my requirements and would fall way behind other existing products such as Zety, VisualCV, novoresume and Resume.io
