Q: A great idea for consolidated chat.
Just wanted to know if I can see the end user's IP address when they are live chatting with me on my website? Thank you.

At this time we don't have that feature. But out of curiosity why would you like to know that persons IP address?

Thanks for the quick response.
This enables VAs to use a localized script that matches the end user's location to improve conversions.
Also very useful in fraud detection. Some of my clients operates in extremely competitive sectors where we actually see malicious competitors click our ads and chatting with VAs trying to get our unadvertised pricing (changes daily) and scripts. VAs are trained to identify those guys and we put their IP blocks under our ad account exclusion list - saved thousands of dollars in otherwise wasted ad budget (routine fraud clicks from these IPs) just from this effort alone! However IP display is not directly offered in the chat solution we use, making it difficult to get this done by the VAs alone.
Having that said, I agree that this is not a feature that everyone would need. However it has the potential to help direct response marketers save tons of ad$ in certain sectors if they know how to properly utilize this information. I will definitely stack more codes if this can be added, not that I really need more contacts - just wanted to support a business that cares and listens.
Thanks for the detailed response, you went far and above what I expected. Reminds me of r/depthhub on reddit.
It's hard to see something like this in our short term future but a little further down the line is a different story.
All I can say for now is that if you paste this detailed description on our feature requests page, it will enable our user base to vote and comment on it.
Then if it moves to the roadmap you'll receive an email notification. As a team, we have no idea how widespread this specific need is, but that feature requests board has surprised us before and it will again.
Whether you buy more codes or not, thanks for the feedback and support.
