Q: The one glaring thing I see missing here is email.

Even if you use this tool you still have to use 2 different ways to communicate.

Are there any plans to support email as well? Sorry if that is there and I didn't see it. I know email is a different beast altogether, but really to have 1 tool, it has to also support email which will still be where the majority of requests come in.

Also, I tested using it on your website. I clicked on Facebook messenger to communicate with you and for some reason, it asked me to log in to Facebook even though I was already logged in on the browser. If FB messenger always requires a login, I don't see many people doing that. I sure as heck didn't and wouldn't. Can you comment on this?

A: Hey Adam! All good questions!

Our team is super keen to add email support to our platform soon, but as you said, it is a beast on its own. Therefore we decided to start with platforms nobody is handling well yet (Whatsapp, Line, Wechat, etc.). Luckily we ran out of messaging apps, so email is the next on our list :)

We provide two plugins, curious which one is the one you tested out? The most advanced we have is on the contact page (you can try it here: https://rocketbots.io/contact/). That one should not ask you to connect to Facebook if your browser is already connected, the chat should start right away.

I also miss Instagram DM. But as I see by the answer from Rocketbots on their feature request platform (https://rocketbots.canny.io/feature-request/p/add-instagram-dm-feature), this isn't possible at the moment anyway because of Instagram itself. Would be nice to see that in the future, as they said that they would add it as soon as it would be possible by Instagram.

When customers send you an e-mail, you should never reply with a bot. That's how you lose customers. It is too dangerous to play with your mail.

This app is not a bot, and they have said that a few times. It's more of a unified inbox with the OPTION of automated responses after it learns how you communicate.

Please understand the vistor / customer psychology here. If ig to someone site and click on chat, I expect to be chatting with them on their platform. The minute I see Facebook, or messenger, I'm clicking right off..... If I want to talk to you, I'm not doing it (knowingly) on Messenger unless you're a FB friend. Think about the optics here.

Not familiar with the Adsoup deal, but from what I can see, there are many differences.

We connect via the APIs so our connection is very stable, we have 12 channels to connect and a lot of automation functions (surveys, broadcast, rules, etc.)

Why do they say it's not a BOT but it's called a BOT and Christie says it's a BOT in her video? I"m confused?

If it's not a BOT, how would it work together with mobile monkey or quirio bot?

Come on Adam, email? Email would be fine (as Adsoup). Maybe latter? Ok! Fine. But the WhatsApp solution is THE real differential (at least for the rest of the world... that heavily depends on WhatsApp). IMHO, this APP may be the perfect solution for many small business, I hope with IG DM, soon...
