Q: I purchased this deal and decided to try it out straight away as I often do: https://www.

facebook.com/marilyn.devonish/videos/10155980149021007/ - It really did take just 5 minutes!

However one thing that has made me raise a slight eyebrow, and it could just be Facebook being picky, is the email that I received immediately afterwards:

Dear Marilyn,
Your Video has been partially muted because it may contain music that belongs to someone else.
The Video is: Untitled posted on March 7, 2018.
Facebook is committed to protecting everyone's intellectual property, so we're letting you know that your video contains material that you may not have the rights to use.
You can post the partially muted Video or restore the audio if you own the rights to the content.

As far as I can tell from the sales copy all of the music and images are royalty free so the team at Rocketium might want to check that out.

A: Ben, thanks for pointing this out. Will have the team look into this and correct as needed.

Apart from the rare cases of Youtube and Facebook incorrectly flagging videos (but never blocking accounts or doing anything serious), our users have not faced any issues with our music selection.

Thanks for bringing this up. This is something we have faced for a couple of our videos and one person posted about this in the FB community as well.

Straight up, to clarify, the music provided in the Rocketium library is indeed royalty free and is attributed to the original musician as required at the start of every video. All of the music has been acquired legally (paid and unpaid) and is free to use for commercial purpose as well.

Similar to your case, we appealed when this was flagged by Facebook and it was resolved. The problem lies with the social media channels as they aren't able to ascertain the usage rights on the original music and quite blatantly, for the lack of information, issue a blanket warning to everyone if they find that a music piece is used in another video.

I guess, all of us can only wait till they fix it from their end, we haven't been able to illicit a response to this effect yet. But at the baseline, we and our users are secured legally for using the music, image, footages provided in the Rocketium library.

Hope this helps. :)

Anurag,

That is great. Thank you. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the PRS issue before you had a potential avalanche of people! :-)

I suspected that was the case so went on ahead and 'approved' the video manually on Facebook and it's all now working fine. I just wanted sure just in case FB issues little background penalties to the sharers account if it keeps on happening.

Interesting point. The little attribution at the beginning of your video says "The Passion HiFi" but it sounds more like being from this song: https://jeasyofficial.bandcamp.com/track/badass

Correct me if I am wrong, perhaps I just do not get it right, but this is an important point, No one wants to be sued, because of using music/images. Perhaps it is just a wrong attribution (or I made a mistake)?
