A: Hey, thanks for reaching out with your question. I don't have any immediate plans to pivot in this direction; the core offering will revolve around personalised landing pages/lead magnets. Perhaps in the future I will expand the platform further (ie: outside of recruitment), but it's not something that I'm actively focused on at the moment. That being said, more context blocks/types will definitely follow in the future, perhaps if there's enough request and a solid use case for it that would help the majority of the user base, I can add e-signatures as well.
Apologies, I totally missed your reply on this. To a certain degree, it does cater to a wider, more general use case in the sense that most of the things can be customised (sections, form, etc.). It is indeed more suitable for recruiting in its current state but there are several customers who use the platform for different use cases.
Q: Presale Question
Can I resell this service to my clients on a different domain as an agency if I buy it now?
I'd love to understand better your use case so I can answer accurately.
For context I don't have an agency tier/plan at the moment (albeit it's planned for the future). So while you could manage multiple candidate packs for multiple clients/companies under one account, it would be always your account, meaning your clients wouldn't have access to the admin/dashboard area. Also since you can only add one custom domain per account, every candidate pack would be accessible under your domain.
Let me know if this makes sense and if you have any follow up questions. Always happy to chat!
For us, attracting candidates isn't the issue. The problem we're facing is that out of 400 applications received per position on average, only 3 or 4 meet the criteria mentioned in our job postings. We're therefore wasting considerable time.
Would it be possible (potentially through paid custom development) that during the role.so process, we could ask candidates a series of questions, and role.so would only forward us applications from candidates who responded favorably to the questions asked?
Would it be possible to trigger an automatic email from us to other candidates (those who don't meet all our criteria) x days after their application?
Would it be possible to store applications in a spreadsheet showing each candidate's name and contact information, their answers to our questions, their application date, and their resume?
Thank you for reaching out with your thoughts and feedback, really appreciate it!
Definitely scope for this! It's actually on the roadmap to add a screening feature. It's one of the things I think will round up nicely the core offering. Furthermore I'm also considering adding de-identification and possible even a ranking system based on custom/preset rules, to make recruiters' life easier.
The platform moves based on feedback, and this will always be the case - so thank you again for sharing your use case and your thoughts on what would work best for you. It will help me shape the product going forward and prioritise things accordingly.
A: Hey! Webhooks is the next feature I'll be tackling, alongside other integrations. Currently there are no plans to expose API endpoints, however if there is enough demand for this, I'll definitely consider it.
Thanks @liam822 and @priceshay for your feedback. I will look into it and see how best I can fit this into the product roadmap.
Q: Form Fields
I would like to add various fields to the form (such as checkboxes, radio buttons, CV upload and other documents, dropdown list, etc.). Is this included in your future planning? Thanks
Some of these are already available in a form or another: https://role.so/help/forms-editor
However an even more extendable version is planned and it's currently the roadmap: https://role.so/roadmap
That being said I've just launched the Forms Editor last month. This effectively represents the first step in a longer vision of introducing and expanding the form customisation options, such as custom fields, lead qualification screeners, etc.
Q: Do you have any plans to adapt the same app but with a different use case?
I want to use it as an alternative to BetterProposal. Just need a pricing table and an e-signature feature.

Absolutely, but will it feature personalized landing pages catering to general use cases instead of solely targeting HR?

Q: APIs and Webhooks
Look for APIs to add job posts and Webhooks to collect responses. Is this available?

API end point(s) to create candidate pack based on template (or not) would be huge, yes!
+1 - I would love a public API as well
