Q: Hey Mike, I think stand-ups and catching up on status is great and all but I'd like to see if this is possible for async development as well.
When my team "get together" and brainstorm a weighted benefit strategy for a client I'd like those instances to be perpetual so that it can become a living document so to speak as the strategy evolves over time.
I see that the retention is 30-days. Does that mean we're boned when it comes to reviewing something with that kind of use-case?
Thanks man!

Async has worked great for us as we've been being building! There's definitely still a need for real-time meetings but we've found that by using Rollcall to cut down on those, the ones we do have become more valuable. Rollcall really helps with some of the minor back-and-forths that could extend for days based on timezone differences.
At this point, yes, you would be boned. However we're taking votes on our roadmap on how to solve that longterm. One idea is an integration that can enable sending the recordings to your own project management tools or cloud storage.
Would love your input!

Ah got it, storage is pretty pricey on the cloud.
Yeah I'd be more than happy to have it stored on my Google Workspaces since it's theoretically unlimited if there's a way to sync them and replace the embed.
Hahaha that kind of sounds like a nightmare for your coding team though. Maybe there's a more elegant solution out there.

Following up on this: I've come up with a solution as long as I can download the final clipped-together meeting video. Is that possible?
