👋 Hey everyone.

Back on AppSumo with a second LTD after much success with the first one last year (Botsheets).

Let me tell you a story....

My dad is 89. Last summer he asked me for help choosing a new printer. I went to Amazon and sent him a few links to printers that were reasonably priced from major brands and with high ratings and lots of reviews.

He thanked me for the links, then asked me "Which one?"

I didn't have time to research, so I copy and pasted into ChatGPT and asked it for an opinion. I started thinking about all the mom bloggers that want to create gift guides, and food influencers that want to share their favorite cooking tools but didn't have time to research and write up some guides.

I ran some Google searches for things like "Home office ideas" and "Valentines day gift ideas" and ALL of the top organic results were roundups. This wasn't just SEO-friendly content. This was the highest value SEO content!

What are past projects, failures, or successes you’ve had in your career?

Early in my career, I mastered SEO and ran a print-on-demand business that outranked large public companies like VistaPrint in Google. That led to my first exit. I re-invested proceeds into a mobile app studio, but got out of that business in 2016 when I discovered I could build AI chatbots faster and cheaper than mobile apps. I didn't just jump on the AI bandwagon when ChatGPT launched. I saw a glimpse of the future back then and here we are now. The technology has evolved over the years, and so have the possibilities. Roundups really excites me. It's different than other AI writer products because it's focused on delivering value. I also like how it can scale.

We're a team of 4 product devs that can do everything.

A: You can create up to 50 per month and then it resets the next month.
Of course you can use different products for different Roundups. Every product can be different. We encourage that.

Hi there. I am interested in buying Roundups but have a few questions.

1. For product imports, says I chose 50, is that across all websites or per website? Is it a new 50 products per month or just 50 in general?

2. I had a look at some of the blog posts made with Roundups, they look good but seem to lack more in depth information? Are you looking at making the blog posts more advanced and perhaps having a more versatile selection or formatted post?

3. If I created a post with 25 products, does each product get a summary for the blog post? How does this work?

4. If we have 2-3 websites, can posts be exported to different websites?

A: 1, You're importing 50 products PER MONTH to Roundups for use on as many Roundups or Websites you've connected to Roundups

2. Yes. This isn't a mature product. We're doing the LTD to build this collaboratively with a community and there is a lot we plan to build out around the content output. Come on board now and you won't be disappointed. We've been adding new features since we launched this campaign almost daily.

3. Yes, but the more products that are used in a blog post, will result in a more condensed summary per product. An in-depth breakdown of 25 products in a single blog post feels unnatural, but we're open to feedback and experimenting with different content formats.. I think we'll build out more comparison tables, or graph features of similar products, vs. long text for each product. We also intend to go to even greater depth for a single product, resulting in an indepth product review.

Q: When are you planning to implement a bulk feature and optional publishing live without draft?

An automated approach where you enter a list of keywords and it creates finds and sources the post based on the configuration and auto posts to places like Wordpress - this is the top essential missing feature in all Roundup platform right now… Doing all the current research to generate and publish routine one by one washes out most of the system unique feature! Also posting all posts into Wordpress in a draft mode is mandatory right now - the same thing here, please add an option to post them right away in Published status, it should be for a user discretion only to decide in which status to post. This is especially crucial if you implement a bulk posting mode in Roundup…

A: All of the other AI writers just spit out text so you can automate in bulk easily. Roundups is focused on creating high quality product research which includes elements like comparison tables, call-to-action buttons, etc.. Most of our users want to check for quality in WP before they publish.

That said, I do think we can look at adding an automated workflow though as an option for users. We're currently focused though on the content itself and ensuring that the content Roundups generates is 10X better than any other AI writer on the market. Things like automated workflows, multi-user accounts, branding, etc.. are all things that come after.

Great vision, clean UI – but still missing key content controls

When I first came across Roundups.ai, I asked myself: *Do I really need another writing tool?*
The answer was *no* — but this one stood out. The niche-specific approach, the focus on affiliate roundups, and the clean UX/UI convinced me to give it a try. I liked the story behind the project and the vision, so I dove in.

In the first week, I created a couple of articles — but the outputs felt too similar, too limited. I paused and came back weeks later, hoping that new features would improve the experience. And yes, the team has clearly been working hard — things are moving in the right direction.

But unfortunately, **some key basics are still missing**:
🔹 I can’t **edit the outline before generation**
🔹 I can’t **add talking points or structure sections manually**

That's coming soon. You'll pick the areas that AI should focus on before it's generated. It's a balance between getting the user to the end result as quickly as possible, because we want the time-to-value to be very short, and giving users too much freedom which can lead to abandonment in the creation flow because it demands too much from a user too soon.

We have an editor that lets you manually edit everything (except the comparison table)
