A Tool With Possibilities
UPDATED:
I purchased Roundups for a couple of niche sites that I have. This tool lets me create roundups comparing different products which I love. I know my audiences will love them as well.
However...
There's room for improvement. Here's where I've struggled with Roundups.
1. Images do not resize properly: I'm seeing images that are outside of my Wordpress site's boundaries.
2. The graphs don't resize: I love the idea of the graph/chart at the bottom of the post. However, when they display on my site, they don't show up properly.
3. I cannot post directly to my WordPress sites: I have two sites that I'm testing this out on. Neither will post automatically. It would be great to have it do so.
I've reached out to Roundups and have received a couple of replies. However, nothing has been resolved as of yet. If these three issues could be resolved, I could move this being a 5 taco product.
UPDATED:
The addition of the WordPress plugin has made publishing the Roundups a lot better. Once you've installed the plugin and added the API code in the settings, the posts go to drafts on the WordPress site. From there, you can easily publish the article. So glad they've added this feature and made it work well.
Images and grids are working a lot better as well.
Keep up the great work.

Feb 13, 2025Thanks for the review/feedback. Hoping to get you to 5 tacos before the end of the campaign. The demand for Roundups and our roadmap has been huge. We've gotten hundreds of requests since we launched this campaign 2 weeks ago, and we've been waiting for all of the feedback to come in so that we can prioritize based on data. Those 3 things you mention though are at the top of the list for us for sure.
1. Images do not resize properly: I'm seeing images that are outside of my Wordpress site's boundaries.
The images we get from Amazon are massive, but we plan to allow resizing as a percentage. So, if they are massive at the default of 100%, you could set images to be 75%, or 50% or whatever % and we can decrease image sizes displayed. You can also do this in WordPress, by changing the values to %.
2. The graphs don't resize: I love the idea of the graph/chart at the bottom of the post. However, when they display on my site, they don't show up properly.
Working on making the table sizes more flexible, but it's going to be limited to your WordPress theme which we don't have control over.
3. I cannot post directly to my WordPress sites: I have two sites that I'm testing this out on. Neither will post automatically. It would be great to have it do so.
We recently added an alternative way to connect a WordPress blog, with a Manual Connection Method where you input your credentials? Have you tried this new method yet? https://roundups.ai/publishing-roundups
We're also exploring a WordPress plugin as an alternative way to connect. For some people direct publishing works, but there are so many permutations of WordPress and people have APIs disabled on their WP, or other weird security plugins that prevent external apps from posting, so we're doing whatever we can to account for the largest number of possible scenarios.
