RTILA: Web Automation - Plus exclusive

Product details

Q: Hey I'm interested in utilizing your tool to streamline a specific task but require some guidance as I'm not familiar with coding.

Could you please confirm if the following process can be set up with your tool, and if so, assist me in getting started?

My automation task would look like that:

1. I have a list containing stock identifiers, either ISINs or SEDOLs, in a Google Sheets document (would a local Excel file also work ?).

2. navigate to https://finance.yahoo.com/

3. retrieve the current share price of each stock identifier from my list

4. The retrieved share prices back into the corresponding Google Sheets or Excel file along with a timestamp indicating when the price was fetched

5. Create a bot to share it with others.

Thank you for your assistance in helping me set up this process.

A: Hello Sveny

1. I have a list containing stock identifiers, either ISINs or SEDOLs, in a Google Sheets document (would a local Excel file also work ?).
>>>> Yes, both can be used, Google Sheet and or Excel or CSV files

2. navigate to https://finance.yahoo.com/
>>> Yes

3. retrieve the current share price of each stock identifier from my list
>>> Yes doable, please share the exact page URL and screenshot where you highlight which values you want to capture and we can give it a quick test and confirm (create a support ticket here: https://rtila.com/support

4. The retrieved share prices back into the corresponding Google Sheets or Excel file along with a timestamp indicating when the price was fetched
>>> Yes doable, see our Demo video/podcast about Data Enrichment by taking data from Google Sheet then going to the web to scrape some data (youtube) then go back and save the enriched data back into the corresponding cells: https://youtu.be/5k6VO2wTZdw?si=hab3k4zbZ4nUF1Q_

5. Create a bot to share it with others.
>>> yes for that you need to get Plan 4 and above to get your Bots unlocked and to get Reseller Rights
