What a Great Idea
Rumble Studio is a product that has got me excited.
Having created almost 400 episodes of a podcast I know how hard it is to record audio remotely. Even with my co-host it's sometimes hard to work with each other's schedules. Imagine what it's like with guests.
So we record in person if we have a guest. But Rumble Studio offers a tool to make things easier with asynchronous recording.
It won't be for everyone and every situation. But I think it is a great idea. I'm not even sure what other products are out there that compete in this area. I'm sure more will appear over time.
I feel the real benefit for Rumble Studio is for anyone that needs to record audio from someone else. Not just for podcasts.
Also a note for new and future podcasters out there. If you think this is the missing tool you need to create a podcast it might be. But in reality just start recording and see if you can get past 5, then 10 episodes. Podfade is real.
Keep pushing ahead. And create. Stop making excuses.
What I like about Rumble Studio:
👉 The onboarding is great, it all makes sense.
👉 The team is super active on social and in discord. They want the feedback and want to make this product better.
👉 Rumble studio works nicely as it is. It solves a lot of problems for remote guests.
Things I don't like:
Well nothing at the moment. But I am concerned the team might try to add too many things to the product too fast.
Excited customers want a lot of other things added. I get it. But I'd much prefer a rock solid product that does one thing amazingly well (audio) then start building out video and other extras.
So overall. A great product that solves a problem I actually have. It's something I will use straight away. I'm looking forward to how it evolves and hope it's around for a long time.
