Yes, ruttl can be used on a password-protected web application. To do so, you need to download our Chrome extension and click on it to login > Open your password-protected site on a new tab > Create a web app project, select the same using our projects dropdown in the extension to review the same.

The screenshots are stored on our server, however, the annotations and passwords are not stored by us, since ruttl only captures your CSS (front-end design) and stores a copy of the same for your review.
