Yes, our application should also work for merchants with the Shopify Lite plan.
It's not necessary to have an online storefront on Shopify. Salestio will be needed to have the possibility of fetching products, and collections and have a way to create orders in your store.

I guess the reason I'm asking is because if I don't plan on selling on Shopify and only on marketplaces like eBay, Amazon, and Walmart, I don't want to pay for a full Shopify plan.
If I do have a Shopify plan, I should be able to create collections in Shopify.
Do you mean that Salestio needs Shopify in order to parse the orders into other marketplaces like eBay, Walmart, and Amazon?

Thank you for the clarification.
Salestio uses your online store as a source of product data and as a destination for importing orders. Basically, your store becomes a hub for all orders - from marketplaces and online stores. If you don't use the online store functionality of shopify, all should still work and you can have all your marketplace orders inside the Shopify store for further processing/dispatching.
