This is an early review, but I really want Screenrun to absolutely nail it on appsumo.

If you've seen people demoing their software in a similar fashion to Screenrun, chances are it's screen.studio. Unfortunately, screen.studio is mac only with no plans to support windows.

Now, screen.studio is INCREDIBLY well polished, and currently has a few more features than Screenrun.
However, Screenrun is platform independent, works really well already, offers lifetime updates and... Well, it's criminally lowly priced at a tenner.

Finally, I can make beautiful demos too, with practically zero effort and on an actual computer instead of an expensive art installation.

These demos look GORGEOUS.

Things I'd love to see:

- A roadmap. It's pretty vital on Appsumo, and I'm pretty sure it makes a big difference to sales here. (not that I can see Screenrun suffering in that department anyway)
- More granular controls over everything
- projects with organisation (this would mean storage space with Screenrun, but it's cheap these days and would make editing a project later so easy)
- Better mouse icon handling. Currently you can see my system mouse. I'd like that hidden, and replaced by a full, smart suite of custom cursors.
- better choice of background music. I know I can add my own, but the stuff on here has noticeable loop jumps.
- webm exports
- granular control over zoom for each point
- more fonts (or better yet, the ability to upload our own)
- the ability to 'burn in' our captions
- Come back with raised prices after this campaign!

Anyway, I'm super happy with Screenrun, you will be too.
