TLDR: Get this even if you haver other screen recording tools like BerryCast or Loom.

I was on the fence about this deal for a while. "Another screen recording tool" I thought, and wondered if it was really worth it since I already had StoryXpress with unlimited videos. After downloading the free trial on their website, the answer is a clear YES.

This thing records flawlessly. No more fear of the recording or the upload failing randomly, since it is all done locally on my PC. Render times are adequate on modern hardware and quick recording is almost instantaneous on my laptop.

And for me the biggest value is in how mouse pointer and clicks are highlighted in quick recording. It is just sooo much better than plain screen recording like other tools. Tutorials and guides are clear, and if you have the time you can edit the project to adjust clicks, add keyboard inputs overlays, zoom into portions of the screen, blur information.

But often I don't have the time to edit these tutorials all that much. So the "Quick Recording" option is a godsend, letting me record a compelling, easy to follow tutorial in just minutes.

I might keep other screen recording tools with integrated hosting/sharing for quick, one-use videos. But this is a keeper for recording product tours, tutorials and guides. Outstanding.
