It pains me to have to write a negative review since Screpy seemed like a promising product. But here I am to give you my experience with the product.

Screpy will nicked-and-dime you.

First, you will find that Screpy has decided to artificially limit basic options for Appsumo buyers,like the amount of URLs results it will show on its crawl reports. What's that? You want to see 250 URLs on the same screen instead of 100? Well, you better get your wallet ready because you'd need an 'Advance" plan for that. This is only one example of the nonsensical nickel-and-diming Screpy does all throughout its interface for us Appsumo buyers.

But, I see they are trying to encourage you to become a regular paying customer. This, however, would not be an issue IF the product and support worked.

Screpy simply doesn't work as expected.

You will find serious issues like the crawler missing your most linked--and most important-- pages on your site (how is that even possible for a crawler); it will not, (again, it will NOT) find and crawl all of your pages, even if you have a tiny 50 pages site; the UI has no indication of the crawl progress once you start it. You will have no idea if clicking the “crawl” button is going to re-crawl the site. I only wish the issues would only be technical because these could be fixed if they want to.

Screpy will ignore you.

Beware that there’s no chat system for quick-and-easy questions. The biggest issue and what prompted me to write this lengthy, honest, review, is that they completely ignore their own support ticket system. I still have two tickets outstanding. The oldest, a 12 (TWELVE) days old ticket asking why the crawler wasn’t working as expected, has gone without any response whatsoever.

Finally, I am refunding this as soon as I can. Be warned that these issues (while many can be resolved) seem to point that Screpy have chewed on more than they can eat.
