Good Product for Starter SEO / Terrible Customer Service
I initially signed up for a trial for Screpy through their website. I liked the software of a surface level and decided to invest in the company by purchasing a lifetime membership on App Sumo.
When I registered, I was told to use a new email address for my promo code through appsumo. So, I went ahead and registered a new email, and they merged my account upon my request and everything was fine.
About a week or so later I try to login in, and my account was gone. There was no password recovery because the account didn't exist anymore. The app sumo code was no longer good.
I emailed them for about 2 days, each time selecting "critical" as I needed to use the software, no response. nothing.
After a while, I decided this company lacks the proper support and therefore we decided to invest in Labrika instead which actually ended up being a better platform, so I'm glad this worked out.
My advice to anyone considering purchasing this app, understand how important customer support is. I don't deal with any platforms that lack it, so don't get fooled into thinking you're buying anything with value if the support isn't there. I would recommend you google the company and watch youtube videos on the difference between Labrika and this app.
Screpy team, you need to work on proper ticket support. No internal confirmation ticket exists without signing up to a 3rd party platform, and more importantly, within 48 hours 0 response from team members? Why. What is the excuse? seems priority for the staff is elsewhere perhaps they lack resources to operate.
this is an excellent example of how an MVP product fails because they lack emotional intelligence. I will be sharing this in my next seminar as an example, I can't wait.
All difference aside, I want to be respectful and play nice as they may have had a bad day or week in the office. One thing for sure which is honest and transparent is that I never got support for 48 hours+ and counting.
