Scribe Is Great
There are a handful of e-signature apps on the market. I think Scribe is among the best for 3 reasons:
1. Thoughtful design and UX:
Scribe is easily understandable. That might not matter to everyone in the AppSumo community, because AppSumo users tend to have better-than-average computer skills, so they can sort through some different user experiences. However, UX definitely matters if you want to deploy a capability across and organization. Your users won't all be skilled with computers. If you want one of them to do something, you have to make it easy. Scribe makes setting up your signature pretty easy, especially so once you've set up the administrative stuff on behalf of the G Suite domain.
2. CNAME:
You can set up a CNAME with Scribe. When you send an email to someone, your profile image and other links will load from a subdomain at your domain. This is good for your email deliverability, making it a little less likely to be flagged as spam. It's also good for trust. When a recipient hovers on a link in your signature and sees some random URL, that can make you seem sketchy. In body text, a user recipient might expect to go to a URL that's external to your domain. In your signature, the recipient expects those links to go to your domain. Scribe handles this. I haven't seen this feature in a competitor.
3. Design:
Scribe doesn't offer a lot of layouts right now, just two. That's fine. I like the ones they give, and I **really** enjoy that I have a selection of fonts that aren't Arial or Verdana. I also like that the two call-to-action buttons that you get are HTML/CSS instead of ugly PNG buttons.
4. Consistency:
If you intend to deploy signatures across your domain, you want them to look the same for everyone. Scribe makes this easy to accomplish, which is nice. Again, if you want people to do something, you need to make it easy and as convenient as possible.
