Does Scrupp work equally as well in a free LinkedIn account as it does with Sales Navigator?

The AppSumo sheet clearly explained that you could use Linkedin or Sales Navigator. The same goes for the presentation video on this same page (at 2min) and the founder's comment above.
Why is Linkedin greyed out in my Scrupp account and I'm asked to pay?
