Can i have multiple instances of search on one website? For example, one search form to search for only products, the other one to search only for posts

Do you have a WordPress website? If so, you can use the 'SearchIQ search box' widget and select the post type for search to display results for the specific post type. Moreover, you can also use the shortcode to add the search bar (check under the Options tab of the SearchIQ plugin settings) and define the post type.
For a non-WordPress site, you must have a separate URL structure, like 'example.com/page/.....' and 'example.com/product/.....' to create different search engines for each post type.
