Fast, efficient, pretty rich solution that brings extra site performance
I was pleasantly surprised with this solution, in the case of multilingual Wordpress sites.
I use both SearchWP and Relevannsi on my sites and this is hands down way better in my case where I use long form content and complex faceted taxonomy criteria. The reason, most perfomance freaks will confirm, is that both plugins above create massive DB entries that in turn impact the site's ability to swiflty perform quite a lot of the basic tasks required to run a WP site. Being able to resolve this issue will extend to a lot of other systems that don't use an external search system.
And that is what Search IQ brings you, a very fast external search system.
What is pretty amazing though, is that, in the case of WP sites specifically, and probably well structured sites using other CMS, it pulls all the relevant data through their WP plugin with options to decide whether or not to include ACF type fieds. There are lots of options to define the visual aspect of the results and you have both an Autocomplete function and full page results (using an iframe).
It is all geared towards a (so far) stellar solution, far faster than WP with Memcached an even Redis when using SearchWP or Relevannsi. OK if you have a Redis stored query that a person hits (a second time) they may be on par, to be fair, but that is not going to cover all the random searches on a site and teh first time people search for something.
Issues I found, are the ability to change the 'fixed' text components for both search boxes, autocomplete and results that are not in English. There are tricks and workarounds but for SEO purposes there needs to be more thought given for a long term.
Finally, why oh why are you not allowing people to stack this.
You want as many as people as possible using and getting to know about this, not this half baked offer. Your solution is pretty amazing. But the (restrictions) terms of your offer are good (acceptable) for only a few people here on Appsumo and not the ones who will make the most noise and spread the word about it. Check out what WebFactory do and have done, some pretty clever strategies with their Appsumo offers...
Well worth the money and I would invest far more to get to the next level, for more docs, more options and more control over the layout of the results (which is already very good). Personally not bothered about PDF support for example but wouldn't say no to it.
