Great Concept, But Not Yet Ready for Detail-Critical Products

I had high hopes for SellerPic. The concept is fantastic — upload a product photo and instantly generate lifestyle images with models or backdrops. For ecommerce sellers, this sounds like a dream.

But after testing, my conclusion is this:

SellerPic, as it stands now, is not yet ready for serious, professional use, especially for more intricate products with fine detail and complex design elements, where visual accuracy is essential for building trust and avoiding customer complaints.

I tested the "AI Model Image" feature using one of our products — a bracelet made of colorful glass beads and various unique charms. I uploaded a decent image of the bracelet and paired it with a few of SellerPic’s preset wrist models. While the bracelet was placed correctly on the model’s wrist, the product itself looked noticeably different on each image. The generated results were inconsistent, unusable, and I ended up wasting credits.

Most of the product’s features — color gradients, bead sizes, patterns, and charm designs — were either altered, oversimplified, or replaced entirely. What I got was a vague interpretation of my bracelet, not the actual product. And that’s a deal-breaker because, obviously, the product images shown to customers should precisely match what they’re actually purchasing.

For those interested in seeing some real use-cases, here are some examples:

• SellerPic Result (Model 1): https://i.imgur.com/lkYriCB.jpeg
• SellerPic Result (Model 2): https://i.imgur.com/WsVasCt.jpeg

So, in its current state, who is this for?

✅ Hobbyists or casual sellers
✅ Products where “close enough” is acceptable
✅ Shops where image accuracy isn’t mission-critical

Who is this not for?

❌ Professional sellers of detailed or handcrafted products
❌ Jewelry, artwork, or anything requiring precise visual replication
❌ Anyone concerned about customers' expecting the product to look exactly like the photos

That said, I haven’t requested a refund...just yet — I’m holding onto my purchase a little longer in hopes that the developers will address the critical issues around product detail replication.

SellerPic shows real promise and having a LTD for such a tool is nice. If they manage to close this gap, it could become a valuable tool for serious ecommerce sellers.

Thank you for your criticism. I have informed the algorithm team to strengthen the model training for bracelet-like ornaments. We are not using a general-purpose model; we train a base model for each ornament using a large number of data samples.
