Q: I did a test purchase so I could see the user experience.
When it comes to accessing the product, I get a big red exclamation mark on the desktop toolbar saying: sellix.cc407....zip is dangerous, so Chrome has blocked it.
Not really the first impression I want clients to have, and if it happened to me as a customer, using a platform I'd never heard of, I would most likely be heading straight for a refund rather than risk downloading a virus or something dangerous onto my PC.
Is there a way to avoid this happening?

It appears that Sellix was falsely flagged by a third-party platform, and we've since been able to mediate and get the block lifted. I can confirm that the error you're experiencing has been resolved.
