Poor Credit System: I lost 2000 credits in 50 minutes.
Unlike other SEO research tools, this one uses a lot of credits. I spent about 50 minutes exploring the tool, checking 11 domains, 25-35 long-tail keywords, and backlinks at every step, and ended up losing 2,000 credits. While I like some features, the credit system is terrible and doesn’t last even for basic research. I WAS SO SHOCKED to see credits deducted just for reloading the page when the tool froze, which is insane!
The tool claims to have billions of keywords, but when I compared it to Ubersuggest another LTD I previously bought, by searching the same long-tail keywords, Ubersuggest showed many more, often double or even triple the amount. I'm disappointed so far, especially since this product relies entirely on credits. You can't freely browse or research without credits being deducted.
I prefer Ubersuggest’s system, which is based on daily search limits rather than pure credits. For example, Ubersuggest lets you search up to 150-900 keywords per day, while this tool only refills credits monthly yet deducts credits at every step. I'm still deciding whether to keep this tool, but the credit system is a big downside. I might just ask for a refund and continue using Ubersuggest, which is cheaper and offers better limits.

Edit: As I mentioned earlier, your tool isn’t premium, with fewer keywords showing up compared to Ubersuggest, and I'm sure the difference is even bigger compared to Ahrefs. You didn’t address the flawed credit system, which is disappointing and completely ignored it. To respond to your other comments, the credit system does limit us. There’s also no way to create projects or track domains like other tools offer. Plus, there’s no history of keyword searches; if I search the same keyword again, credits get deducted, even though you said they wouldn’t due to caching.
Ubersuggest’s Individual LTD plan costs $120 and includes 1 domain project to track, though you can still search other domains as much as you want. Your platform doesn’t allow tracking domains or creating projects. Their Business plan is $400 LTD for 15 domain projects, and similarly, you can search other domains or keywords beyond the projects or domains you track and not dependant on credits like your platform for every single step or every time you move around the app.
P.S. The first video you mentioned, https://youtu.be/WuXiG_2ATuk, compares the keyword "Canva" on Ubersuggest and Semdash. Your tool showed 36,000 keywords, while Ubersuggest displayed over 100,000, almost three times more. This actually supports my previous point. How can Ubersuggest be inflating keyword counts when their numbers are lower than big tools like Ahrefs and Semrush? For the keyword "Canva," those tools show over 300,000 keywords, which is three times more than Ubersuggest. Are you suggesting they inflate their numbers too? I highly doubt it.
P.s 2 the owner recently removed the Youtube video link he previously referred to in his response, after I responded back, I guess he doesnt like to be proven wrong: https://youtu.be/WuXiG_2ATuk

Edited Nov 25, 2025You analyzed 11 different domains, ran 25–35 long-tail reports on each, pulled full backlink reports at every step, for this usage I recommend you to upgrade to a higher tier. Tier 5 gives you 20K credits per month.
2. “Ubersuggest shows 2–3× more keywords” I doubt it! here are independed video reviews showing actual comparisons:

Worth to note that Uber suggest was reported to inflate keywords count with near-duplicates, branded terms, zero-volume junk, and variations Google itself filters out.
We made a deliberate choice years ago: every keyword you see in Semdash has verified search volume in the last 30 days and passes strict duplication + branding filters. Fewer results, but dramatically higher quality and actionability.
What I wanna say is Ubersuggest’s looks cheap until you realize you’re locked into Neil Patel’s data quality forever and the limits still kick in the moment you try to do real competitor spying or deep backlink analysis.
It gives the illusion of “unlimited” by capping you at one domain and serving you heavily filtered, months-old data. We give you unlimited domains, unlimited projects, and the deepest, freshest dataset in the industry. Different tools, different leagues.
We’re not the cheapest — we’re the deepest.
What you get with semdash:
No project limits. No “1 domain only” nonsense. Research 1 domain or 1,000 — we don’t care, you have unlimited access.
• 27 billion keywords refreshed every single month (not a stale database from 2021).
• 3 trillion live, crawlable backlinks — the largest live backlink index on the planet.
• Full competition suite: keyword gap, backlink gap, top pages by traffic/backlinks, content explorer with 300 billion indexed pages, live Google Maps scraper, SERP checker with 700 million Google pages, AI SEO tools, and 25 total modules (we just shipped lead generation last week).
Still not your thing? Refund instantly, no hard feelings.
Update: Regarding the deducting credits for the same keywords and caching point, that shouldn’t happen. email me this case and I’ll fix it and restore your credits.
