Very basic functionality missing
Somewhat unhappy about this one. Initially I asked some pre-sales questions. They simply did not get approved. Decided to stack 4 codes based on the positive reviews anyway, to find out why my pre-sales questions did not get an approval; simply because most of it is unavailable and there is little plans.
One of the most important features is being able to segment. SendFox can only segment one-dimensional, there is no way to add more than one tag to your list.
For whom is this a great deal? For those getting started in mailing lists.
For whom would I not recommend? Despite the import from mailchimp functionality, mailchimp users should think twice. SendFox dies not provide many of the options provided by MailChimp. Import is per list, and all tags you may have will be lost.
Other cons: no integrations with commonly used WP form-builders and user managers, lack of form styling, no HTML emails, are all cons in addition to the lack of segmentation.
Verdict: Will consider to sell back

May 9, 2024Thanks the feedback, Stijn1976. A few comments that might help other customers...
1) We treat SendFox lists like tags. (You'll notice the URL structure is actually tags, which is a shoutout to how we first named it before we changed it to be less confusing.) You can attach as MANY lists as you want to each subscriber, and we do not bill you for the same contact across multiple lists — unlike Mailchimp, which does bill you for the same contact across multiple lists.
2) With Zapier, our API, and POST HTML code, you can absolutely integrate SendFox with most form tools out there. In our comments, we share the link to a video a customer created which shows how to integrate SendFox with common form tools like Thrive Leads.
Hope that helps! There's a lot more coming with SendFox, and we can't wait to share more new features. We've released about 5 new major features since we've been on AppSumo... and that's just the start.
