Don't waste ur time or/and money - worst purchase I've made
When I saw Sendinblue here, I rushed the questions and reviews section, and saw they listened (a bit) and made a great change from 5.000 emails to 10.000, so I decided to buy.
TL;DR: Worst decision and deal I bought so far, Don't buy.
This review will relate my experience, but just to let you know, even your test emails, opt-in for users, and each action you do, will count towards your 10k email limits, make your math first.
After I purchased, I was excited to test this great software, so I made all the email setup (good experience, but that's because we as Sumolings understand a lot about technology, for a "Small business", they'll need a lot of help for sure):
- First contact with support, they asked me for details about the use I'll do for emails, everything ok so far, I just sent them my use case and they activated the account to send transactional emails.
- Here's when things went wrong, we created an Opt-in for our new users in our website connected with Sendinblue, we do serius business, and we're not playing with tools just for fun, we've structured automation. We collected in the first day, 95 leads, and we sent them a Campaign with the first email of the newsletter they Opted-in, our results were: 63% opened, 34% clicked, 0% unsuscribed, 98% delivered, 2% soft bounced (1 of the users suscribed with a typing error), that's WAY ABOVE THEIR RECOMMENDATION (50% open, 10% clicked, 2% Unsuscribed), Isn't it?.
- We then said, Ok... great results, good tool, then let's move our current contacts from our current email marketing tool. After we imported the contacts everything were ok, and then we send a second campaign, and we received the first email to manual verification, we said, well, that's just fine, they need to understand our sources and check our list,
They asked the same thing as in the first verification, and we showed them the double Opt-in, the tool we were using to ask our users for their email (some from physical documents, some other digital sign-ups), and also our data privacy, but just one little detail: we operate in Spanish, and they wasn't able to check and "confirm" our Opt-in, so we send them again the screenshots and the translated text, it's Bizarre, but we sent 11 EMAILS trying to explain them each little details of our privacy policy, use case, even our future plans for the next year strategies, after that they just said "If an account is not approved by either the electronic or the manual review, I am afraid that we are unable to move forward with validation.".
So: They don't care the actual facts (the first campaign stats), they don't do any effort on helping as they're lazy enough not to translate an Opt-in, and they just took the posture of: We don't need you, and we don't care if we made you lose time and money, we won't even tell you why, u're basically, no one in comparison to us.
They don't even answered my last email. The worst purchase made, as we lost valuable time, an unnecessary migration.
