Exceptional product, super limited use for this deal

Let's all be honest... if you had ever heard of Sendinblue, you knew they are a big name in email list marketing. I was shocked to see them come onto AppSumo. I read all the comments and questions with the majority of them being related to the lower volume of emails.

I thought I would try the deal just to test out Sendinblue and see how the CRM functions - shared inbox work etc. My use case was to at least see if I could get use out of the CRM/shared inbox. I could upgrade the number of emails after I got comfortable with the platform. FYI... I am coming from Hubspot, which would be probably one of the strongest competitors to Sendinblue. This also sets the bar pretty high in evaluating the experience.

Keep in mind I am small. It's just me and 3 part-time staff on my team. I immediately hit capacity on the team size. The AppSumo deal is only 3 users -- so even though I have a tiny team, I am out of the deal already without upgrading to the users to a recurring equivalent of $11/month per user paid annually.

The issue is Hubspot is top-tier product. I do have a few quirks, and I was open to a looking at another product. The difference is I get all the users I need in the free CRM plan of Hubspot, even with a Shared Inbox. Of course they use this to upsell on their other products, and I'm sure quite effectively. With Sendinblue, even with my small team, I can't use even the basic database functions of the CRM. That is quite a limitation.

I'm not sure who this deal is for... again, it's a great product. But, you would have to be tiny as a company to get any use of it. Really if you are that small, you probably don't have a ton of time to spend on software analysis anyway.

Could you guys look at some tweak to make this a true LTD deal? Right now, it seems it's just a demo or trial account. If you don't want to budge on emails, I understand... but then please budge on other features like the CRM. I appreciate you coming onto AppSumo.

Thank you for your honest review.
You are right that our deal is maybe a bit more "conservative" than other deals that you might typically find on AppSumo. The reason is that we are a more established business with a very comprehensive set of tools that you typically might not find on AppSumo.
We still tried to put together a very compelling offer for all Sumolings including a lifetime deal (something we have never offered before) and some highly discounted annual deals (the highest discounts we have ever offered) with more emails, users and landing pages. So, while this might seem underwhelming for you, it is quite an adventure for us.
We are sorry if we didn't meet your expectations. We are genuinely trying to offer an affordable and accessible deal to a new audience.
When it comes to the comparison with Hubspot or other tools (I also read Mailchimp a couple of times in the questions), please make sure to not compare apples and oranges.
